Do Your SBCs on Your Phone

FC Helper isn't desktop-only. Install it in Firefox for Android and clear your dailies on the bus instead of waiting until you're home.

What you get on a phone

Everything. Solving, batch solving, repeat and set solving, live card prices, duplicate spotting, pack tools and the transfer-list tools all work, and the layout adapts to a smaller screen with bigger tap targets.

Setting it up

1. Install Firefox from the Play Store.
2. Open the FC Helper page on Firefox Add-ons in it and tap Add to Firefox.
3. Open the EA FC Web App and sign in.
4. Tap Auto Complete on any SBC.

That's the whole setup. Nothing else to install, nothing to copy or paste.

What doesn't work

Better you know now than after ten minutes of trying.

• iPhone and iPad — no. There's no way to run FC Helper on Apple devices today.
• Chrome on Android — no. Chrome doesn't allow extensions on phones. Use Firefox.
• EA's Web App was made for big screens. It opens and works on a phone, but that layout is EA's, and some of it is tight.

Why Firefox and not Chrome

This is the question that trips most people up, and it is not our choice. Chrome on Android does not support extensions at all — no extension of any kind can run there, from any developer. Firefox for Android does, which is why it is the only route on a phone.

You do not have to switch browsers for everything. Plenty of people keep Chrome as their normal browser and open the Web App in Firefox only when they want to do their challenges. The extension is installed once and stays there.

What the phone version is genuinely good for

The dailies. That is the honest answer. Daily challenges are small, repetitive and worth doing every day, and they are exactly the thing you can clear in a few taps while doing something else. Getting them done on the bus means they are done, rather than waiting for an evening that may not come.

Repeat runs on upgrade challenges work well too, because there is nothing to read closely — you set the count and watch it go.

What is still better on a computer

• Sorting a large backlog of packs. You want to see more at once than a phone shows.
• Reviewing an expensive squad before submitting. Prices and card details are easier to read on a bigger screen.
• Anything involving the transfer list in bulk. More rows visible means fewer mistakes.

None of it is blocked on a phone. It is simply more comfortable with more screen.

Is it worth it on a phone?

For dailies, yes — that's where it shines. Batch-solving the daily set is a few taps and needs no careful dragging. Long sessions of sorting fodder and opening packs are still nicer on a big screen, simply because you see more at once.

Does it behave differently from the desktop version?

No. It is the same extension rather than a cut-down mobile build, so the options, the filters and the exclusion list are all the ones you already set. If you use it on both, protecting a card on your computer protects it on your phone as well.

The one visible difference is layout: buttons are larger and panels stack instead of sitting side by side, because the alternative is tap targets nobody can hit. The behaviour underneath is identical.

Before you install

Two things worth knowing so the first attempt goes smoothly. The EA Web App expects you to be signed in to your EA account, and it will ask you to complete the usual login and any verification step exactly as it does on a computer — the extension plays no part in that and never sees it.

Second, the Web App runs a fresh session each time it opens. If you have been away for a while you may land back on the login screen rather than where you left off. That is EA's behaviour rather than anything to do with the add-on, and it happens on desktop too.
