A card can still count toward a FUT Gallery Set after you sell it or use it in an SBC. Fan guides also report a First Owner Tag for cards you got yourself, which market buys don't carry. FC Helper's Cards I had lets you add the cards you no longer own and mark which ones you got first-hand, so each Set counts them.

EA's FUT Deep Dive, which introduced the Gallery in EA SPORTS FC 27, sets three rules:

What is First Owner?

On top of each card's score, EA says Tags reward combinations of item properties within a Set. EA's articles don't define a First Owner Tag; fan sites describe it like this:

If the guides are right, the market can't sell you that Tag: the only way to have it is to have got the card yourself.

Why it matters before you sell or quick sell

Because sold cards still count, a card you packed is not lost to the Gallery when it leaves your club. But someone has to remember that you had it and, for First Owner, how you got it. That is what Cards I had is for. Our fodder guide covers what to keep, store or sell.

Add your old cards with Cards I had

Open FC Helper's Gallery from the club bar on the Web App's Home page and pick a Set:

  1. On the Set page, press Cards I had.
  2. Search a card by name, or pick it from Cards for this Set.
  3. It appears under Added by you. Turn on First Owner for each card you packed or earned, and leave it off for market buys.
  4. Added a card by mistake? Press Remove.
The Cards I had dialog counting cards you sold or used before FC Helper toward a set

You only need this for cards you sold or used before you installed FC Helper. After that, cards you sell or use in an SBC are remembered for you and marked "Remembered: sold or used in an SBC".

How the Set page shows it

The Set then counts the cards you had beside the ones you own, in its progress and its grade, with First Owner where you turned it on. With Premium, Find cheapest cards searches the transfer market only for the slots still empty.

A set page after Find cheapest cards: the plan lists the cards to buy with their prices

FC Helper is an independent browser extension for the EA FC Web App, not made or approved by EA. Cards I had is free: see the Gallery on the Features page and our Gallery tokens guide.

Every Web App extension carries a ban risk, FC Helper included. EA's FC rules advise players to avoid browser extensions and forbid automation and auto-buyers. Read our honest take on solver ban risk before you use one.
