You earn Gallery Tokens by grading Sets in the FUT Gallery: the better the cards you add, the higher the grade, and higher grades pay tokens. The cheap route is to fill each Set with cards you own or used to own, which still count after you sell them or submit them into an SBC, and to buy only the few cards that lift a grade.

The FUT Gallery is new in EA SPORTS FC 27. EA's FUT Deep Dive says your Player Items "will have a lasting legacy in your Club through the new FUT Gallery". It is built around Sets on themes such as Nations, Leagues, Clubs and Campaigns, and you can make Custom Sets too. You add cards to a Set by hand or let the game autocomplete it.

The part that matters for your coins: the Gallery keeps the cards you have had, not only the ones you still hold. EA says items you sold or submitted into an SBC "can still contribute to Gallery Sets".

How do Set grades and rewards work?

"Each Set you complete will receive a grade based on the Items added to it. Items have their own score value, and higher OVR or special versions of Player Items can contribute more."

That score value is the same Item Score that Streamlined SBCs use: a base score for each rating, plus rarity and Holographic bonuses that stack. Our Streamlined SBC guide explains it in full. What a Set pays, per EA's FC 27 Launch Update:

EA's articles don't publish the grade steps or the token payout per grade, so read them on each Set's page in the game before you plan.

What counts toward a Set?

That changes how you look at every pack: a card you pack can be worth something to the Gallery even after you sell it or submit it. Our FC 27 fodder guide turns that into a keep, store or sell table.

What are Tags and First Owner?

On top of each card's score, EA says Tags reward combinations of item properties within a Set. EA's articles don't list every Tag or its bonus.

The Tag players talk about most is First Owner. FUT.GG reports that "players you packed yourself score extra". Other fan guides add cards from SBCs, objectives and rewards, and leave out cards bought on the transfer market. EA's articles don't define the Tag. If the guides are right, the cards you got yourself are worth more to the Gallery than market copies, and the market can't sell you that Tag.

Which Sets should you finish first for tokens?

Tokens come from grades, so the best first Sets are the ones where a few cheap cards move you up a grade. A simple order:

  1. Open the Sets that match your club: your league, your nation, your club. These are often the ones you already half-own.
  2. Note how many cards you are short of the next grade, and roughly what they cost.
  3. Start where the gap is smallest for the tokens it pays, and leave Sets that need expensive specials for last.
  4. Check again after every big promo: new cards in your club, sold or not, may already have moved a Set closer.

For the long game, see our Gallery Level 10 guide.

The cheap route: fill from your club, buy the gap, then sell

Because a card can still count after it leaves your club, a tradeable card you buy only to lift a grade doesn't have to stay:

  1. Add everything you own and have owned to the Set first.
  2. Buy only the cards that lift it to the next grade, cheapest first.
  3. Grade the Set and collect the reward.
  4. Sell the bought cards again if they are tradeable. You lose the market's tax and any price drop, so your real cost is the difference, not the price you paid.

Before you list the bought cards, check on the Set's page in the game that they still count for it.

Tokens go to the Gallery Token Store. EA lists kits, badges and other rewards there, alongside Hall of FUT, "a brand-new class of historical Items". At launch, base Hall of FUT Player Items are among the featured rewards, and EA says the store will add kits, crests and Holographic rewards.

Track your Sets and plan tokens with FC Helper

FC Helper is an independent browser extension for the EA FC Web App, not made or approved by EA. Its Gallery does the bookkeeping:

The Gallery window listing every Set with how many cards of each you own The Token planner with the tokens wanted and the Max Card Price

See the Gallery on the Features page for every step.

Every Web App extension carries a ban risk, FC Helper included. EA's FC rules advise players to avoid browser extensions and forbid automation and auto-buyers. Read our honest take on solver ban risk before you use one.
