The steadiest way to make coins in FC 27 without trading skills is to sell the tradeable cards you already own, priced at the lowest live Buy Now, and to quick sell only what can't be listed. Keep the untradeable fodder your SBCs need, relist what doesn't sell, and let the transfer list work while you are away.

This guide is about selling what you own. It doesn't cover trading (buying cards to sell them for more). It doesn't cover buying coins either, because EA's rules forbid it (see the FAQ below), and coin sites that ask for your EA login put your whole account at risk. Game facts were checked on 25 October 2026.

Where do the quickest coins come from at the start?

Before you sell anything on the Web App, three things decide how fast the first coins arrive. New to the Web App itself? Start with our Web App tips.

Which cards should you sell first?

Sort what you own by what it is worth, not by rating, and work from the top:

  1. Valuable tradeable players you don't use. One good card can be worth more than a whole page of cheap ones, so it goes first.
  2. Tradeable duplicates. If you own a tradeable and an untradeable copy of the same player, list the tradeable one and keep the untradeable one for SBCs.
  3. Spare tradeable consumables. Chemistry styles and other consumables you will never apply can be listed too, as long as they are tradeable.
  4. Cheap tradeable cards last. Below a certain value, the time spent listing is worth more than the coins; those are quick sell candidates.

Only tradeable items can go on the market. The game marks untradeable cards, and those can only be quick sold, used in SBCs or stored.

How do you price a card? Lowest Buy Now and the tax

A card's market price is its lowest live Buy Now. To find it on the Web App:

  1. Search the market for the exact card: same player, same version, same rating. A special version and the base card are different cards with different prices.
  2. Look at the cheapest Buy Now prices in the results. That lowest price is what a buyer pays today.
  3. List your Buy Now at or just under it, so your card is among the first a buyer sees. EA sets a lowest and highest price for each card, so you cannot list outside that range.

If the only listing sits at the card's highest allowed price, that is not what it sells for; it is a seller hoping. Start lower and adjust after the first round.

Remember the tax. FIFAUTEAM's FC 27 tax calculator reports that EA keeps 5% of every completed sale (EA's help pages that we read don't state the rate). On that figure, a card listed and sold at 10,000 coins pays you 9,500. Compare that after-tax figure with the card's quick sell value before you decide.

Unsold cards: relist or quick sell?

A listing that expires lands in Unsold on your transfer list. Before relisting, search the card again: if nobody listed it cheaper, relist at the same price; if cheaper listings appeared, match the new lowest Buy Now. Relisting a card at a price that already failed usually fails again.

Quick sell gives you a fixed number of coins straight away, with no listing and no waiting. Use it for untradeable cards you won't store or use, and for tradeable cards whose after-tax sale price is barely above their quick sell value: the slot on your transfer list is worth more than the difference.

How do you keep the transfer list working overnight?

The hours you are away are the hours your list can sell. A five-minute routine before you log off:

  1. Clear Sold. Sold items keep their place on the transfer list until you clear them, and the list has a limited number of slots.
  2. Reprice Unsold against today's lowest Buy Now, then relist.
  3. Fill the free slots with the next cards on your sell list.
  4. Pick the longest duration so the listings stay up until you are back.

What should you not sell?

See it all in one window

If you use FC Helper in the Web App, its Transfer List window puts your selling in one place. On Home, press the transfer list count on FC Helper's club bar; the number is what sold or expired. Sold, Unsold, Available and Listed each open their own cards, and the window is free to open.

Sell Suggestions lists your tradeable club cards dearest first, with a sort and a minimum price to hide the cheap ones, which is the "sell the valuable ones first" step done for you. Pick cards and press List at market price, Re-list what didn't sell, quick sell the ones you picked after one confirm, or send them To Club. Sell Suggestions and the listing tools are Premium. Nothing is listed or quick sold until you press.

Every tradeable card you look at in the Web App also shows its price badge, free. FC Helper looks each price up on the transfer market, one card at a time, so you see what a card is worth without searching for it yourself.

Every Web App extension carries a ban risk, FC Helper included. EA's FC rules advise players to avoid browser extensions and forbid automation and auto-buyers. Read our honest take on solver ban risk before you use one.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is buying FC 27 coins allowed?

No. EA's FC rules say: "Buying Coins from a third party is against our rules." Section 6 of the EA User Agreement (last updated May 14, 2026) adds: "Do not promote or be involved in account or in-game currency buying, selling, distributing or farming." Section 3 says EA Virtual Currency, its name for "virtual points, coins or currencies", "cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash". EA can remove your Coins, restrict your Transfer Market access or ban the account. If a coin site asks for your EA login, don't give it.

How much tax does EA take when a card sells?

FIFAUTEAM's FC 27 tax calculator reports that EA keeps 5% of every completed sale, so a card sold for 10,000 coins pays you 9,500. EA's help pages that we read do not state the rate.

Can I sell untradeable cards?

No. Untradeable cards cannot be listed on the Transfer Market. You can quick sell them, use them in SBCs, or keep untradeable duplicates in SBC Storage.

Why can't I list cards on the Web App?

The Web App's Transfer Market stays locked until your account has earned access. Returning players who earned it before 1 August in FC 26, FC 25 or FC 24 have it; everyone else earns it by playing Ultimate Team in FC 27, normally over two active days, according to EA's help page.

Do I need trading skills to make coins?

No. Selling what you already own at the lowest live Buy Now price, relisting what doesn't sell and quick selling only what can't be listed is enough to keep coins coming in without buying cards to flip.
