When FUTGenie is the right pick
Pick FUTGenie if you want its iPhone or Android app, or Solve Entire Set and repeat solving on a free plan, and can live with five solves a day and some ads. Its guides also cover sniping and mass bidding, which FC Helper leaves out by design.
When FC Helper is the right pick
Pick FC Helper if you want more free solves (50 a day), no account, Firefox including Firefox on Android, and one extension that also covers score SBCs, Open all packs, a Gallery of your card sets and a Transfer List window for selling what you own.
Where the two genuinely differ
The free plans trade differently. FUTGenie's free plan includes Solve Entire Set and repeat solving but caps the solver at five a day; FC Helper's free tier gives fifty solves a day and keeps set, Batch and Repeat runs for Premium.
The platforms differ too. FUTGenie is a Chrome extension plus iOS and Android apps, and its downloads page does not list Firefox. FC Helper is a Chrome and Firefox extension, with Firefox on Android as its phone route, and has no iPhone app.
Before you start any batch tool, remember that FC Helper's Batch, Set and Repeat solve submit every challenge they fill, so set your card filters first. A single solve only places the squad and leaves Submit to you.
Can you use both?
Yes, though there is little reason to. Two extensions acting on the same Web App screens can interfere with each other, and if something misbehaves the first step is turning one off. Pick the one that fits how you play.
What neither of them does
Worth stating because the category attracts claims that are not true. Neither tool gives you cards you do not own, improves what a pack contains, or makes a challenge cheaper than the cards available to fill it. Both do the same underlying job: finding a valid squad from what you have, faster than you would by hand. Anything advertising more than that in this category deserves a second look.
